The Table (2008)

Four witnesses testify about a roundup and massacre that took place in a city square before the Holocaust. The investigator is mainly interested in the table that may or may not have been in the square. Amidst the heartrending personal recollections and the demand for relevant evidence devoid of sentiment, the audience is compelled to examine its role as a community of witnesses.

Based on the play by Ida Fink and Directed by Naomi Yoeli.

The video projections were created by Jonathan Shohet and Lior Lerman. The video projection combines live-action, hand drawn animation and motion graphics.

Performed at the “Short Theatre” Festival in Tel Aviv 2008, and at the “Criminal Intentions” Festival in Jerusalem 2009.
