Helena (2007)

A dark love story between a painter and his muse. Joseph dreams of a 1920’s film starlet whose image is projected onto his studio wall. Helena emerges from the shadow theater behind the silver screen as an all powerful muse. Black ink courses through her veins, her bitter charms wrap Joseph in a dark carnal longing that blurs his vision and leads him to a chose his illusions over his paint box. Her eyes become his ink wells, her skin his parchment and her nails his stylus.

Performed at the Visual Theater Finale 2007, in the “Summer Nights Festival 2007” in the Interdisciplinary Arena in Jerusalem, and at the International “Stage Song” Festival in Wroclaw, Poland.
